For $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year, you get one bonus episode a month and early access to episodes.
I know Mamamia's subscription service is popular but the demographics of that podcast (older women who aren't very tech savvy) are very different to the people that listen to Shameless. I'll be really interested to see how this goes.

Sounds like a very easy way to make more money. Release episodes early and make some episodes talking about themselves

I wonder if the new subscription will be popular? I can’t imagine why anyone would want to give those girls money to listen to them talk about themselves even more than they already do. I enjoy their Scandal series and they’re fairly well researched (still notice a fair few errors) but that extra content does not seem worth the $ whatsoever!!

It’s not crazy expensive so people will probably pay but I don’t personally think it is worth it.
I miss the podcast it was years ago

Not worth it to me for one extra episode a month and early access. I find Scandal too hit and miss for it to be worth it to me. The mamamia model is more prolific but it's drivel, so potentially doing less is a smarter option and I think they'll do quite well with it.

If they made it a subscribe option to get other podcasts supported by shameless media it would make sense - like everyone has a secret if they monetised that (but I’d want more than one episode a week)

Oh my gosh what’s happened to the shameless girls?

At the beginning of the latest shameless podcasts the girls were saying they had a tough week with something personal, but isn’t related to shameless at all. It felt really baity to me, like when influences say how they’ve had a really tough time but won’t elaborate. I wonder what personal issue it is that’s affecting both of them? Maybe I’m being too nosy.

I'm super curious as well. I don't mind Zara & Michelle but it makes me laugh how they constantly say the same words... "disingenuous", "discombobulating" "remiss"....
