Britt Hockley's Instagram where she complained how hard it is to audition for TV shows when she is overseas and has no tripod- she is an awful actor.

So Dramatic seems to really dislike her- has anyone listened to this episode?

Anyone know what she is auditioning for? Home and away or neighbours because not sure what else she would get on
 
Love this thread! I’m a big podcast fan and nearly always have someone chatting away when I’m at home.

Anyone have any recommendations of ones I’m missing? I listen to
- KICPOD (but am so over hearing about SCS’s kid)
- Outspoken (I agree with all the comments here, but somehow can’t unsubscribe)
- Shameless
- Everybody has a secret

I am so not their target demo but I can’t help but love Happy Hour With Lucy & Nikki.

I enjoy most of The Deep episodes by Zoe Marshall, some I skip if I don't find the topic interesting. Her voice can be a bit cringe sometimes but I put up with it
 
i really enjoy Just The Gist with Rosie Waterland and Jacob Stanley. They’ve been going since about 2019 so must have over a hundred episodes by now. They tell some really cool true stories, scroll through the eps. My favourite one of all is “Sherri Papini” - skip past all the chatter at the start, and the story is wild. I became obsessed with the Sherri story after this ep.
Rosie has been off sick the last few months and there has been a range of guest hosts, but I would say the eps with Rosie are the best.

One of my favourites. Obviously it really misses Rosie, I love breaking news, but I find Jacob a breath of fresh air and really admire how he’s stepped up over the past year. Can’t snark them at all it’s a fantastic podcast.

Rosie is a really talented story teller. I agree with you completely. I mean, if I haddddddddd to snark I’d say her interrupting Jacob is a little annoying sometimes but she acknowledges that and jokes about it. Jacob has done an incredible job, he’s also a great storyteller. Good on him for taking over, they probably had sponsorship deals & commitments so it was good of him to take over that huge workload of research & then the actual storytelling. I want to get into her podcast “mum says my memoir is a lie” but I know that’s heavy content about the child abuse she endured & life in foster homes… I just don’t know if I have the strength for something so upsetting.

It made me sad hearing her say she regrets making it because it made her doubt her own history and trauma. She’s a good person. I have a lot of time for Rosie. She’s been through a lot and she’s just trying to live a healthy and happy life.
