It was. It wasn’t for them doing any bullying.

I still listen to the Outspoken girls as I’m also from Adelaide and get a lot of their references, and I used to enjoy them… but they are just so tit scared of influencers and having honest opinions. They also seem very, very sheltered. It sounds like their circle is SUPER small and they don’t really spend a lot of time with anyone but each other and their partners/immediate family (which is fine), but their views on things are very childish and I think they’re a bit isolated and don’t have much life experience with a variety of people. I think it’s also why they seem so interested in all the young influencers, they talk like they’re 10 years younger than they actually are.

And I 100% agree on the UK influencers. PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT THEM, FOR FUCKS SAKE. They can’t get feedback that people like those segments, surely?!

With all their references to tattle you know they’re already stalking this thread like hawks too 👋

Yeh I didn’t think it was bullying, pretty sure it was after one was allegedly sexually harassed by a colleague
I used to listen to them but stopped a few months ago because it was the same stuff and so many influencers i didn’t know. And even though they’re older than me they somehow made me feel old for listening to it 😂
 
why would they be fired for being sexually harassed? Wasn’t it that one was called out for bullying a colleague (the girls claim this person was a friend), and fired. She responded by saying the manager was a creep and sexually harassing her. It went to court and she won a pay out for unfair dismissal but honestly it’s so hard to fire someone, pretty much anyone can claim and win unfair dismissal. They posted a lot about it when they first started.

Agree!
They sound terrified to have any real opinions about these people and idolise the likes of SCS - is that in the hopes of becoming friends with them one day?
And yes it sounds like they spend all their time with their partners, their parents and that one best friend..as you say all good! but different life experiences/meeting all different types of people is so beneficial to everyone! And that doesn’t include watching UK YouTubers lol

I’m in NZ and I don’t know how I even came across their podcast but is their listenership very big/well known over there? Clearly Shameless had no idea who they were when that whole them being mistaken for Michelle and Zara/Kyle and Jackie O situation happened..

I don't think they are well known. I'm surprised they have any listeners other than their mum!
 
Zara’s engagement ring is so ugly
I wonder how much of Michelle’s wedding will be spon con today? I loved them at the beginning but now it’s just a bit OTT.
Their spin on Everybody Has a Secret was super over hyped. And last week was sponsored by Go-To, this week it’s Frank Body, the girls also do Cera-ve and I’m sure there’s been other skincare brands. Like have some consistent marketing

I really wanted to like everybody has a secret but it just made me feel icky, like making money off peoples really crappy situations. To be fair I only listened to about 15 minutes of one.

The deep is the same, I can’t stand the whole profiting of peoples misery thing. I get that people are interested but when you start making people pay for it just seems gross.

I don’t mind The Deep! I think Zoe still has a lot to learn re interviewing. Some of it feels salacious though. The Cachia episode was just ridic but that’s Cachia.
 
I have no idea where people have the time to listen to any of these Podcasts weekly or even multiple ones per week! My commute to work is short and I just listen to the radio!

I listen when I’m doing housework or in the car or going for a walk etc… I can’t do the radio 😂

I also skip all of the ads on podcasts, skip outspoken’s talk on UK influencers, skip shameless’s inside jokes, chats about their week and incessant giggling, skip Outloud’s acknowledgement to country (going to hell but when u listen to multiple MM it’s hard)….
