I’m too young to remember this happening but have followed the news developments since I could remember as my family are all huge Liverpool fans. This show is one of the most moving and powerful shows I have watched ever, Anne is an incredible woman fighting so hard.

Her story reminds me of Doreen Lawrence. Mothers who wouldn't give up their fights for justice for thier sons.

Watching now. I remember sitting with my mum watching it in real time as it unfolded on the TV. What happened and the cover up afterwards is one of this country’s biggest failings. How no one has been held accountable is mind boggling. JFT97

Just finished the last episode I cried watching each and every one. What amazing performances by all the cast not a maxine peake fan but she was fab in the title role. How amazing was anne never giving up not letting anything stand in the way of her fight for justice for her boy. 32 years later and still nobody has been held accountable for the 97 truly heartbreaking

I too cried in each episode. I thought Maxine was excellent. I've watched a few clips of the real Anne too.

It's so sad they still didn't get justice but glad they got the unlawful killings verdicts.

One thing I never knew though is that they found out 41 of the 96 could have been saved if they had got medical attention. That's just so sad
