Alone - channel 4

he said it was available on the all4 app, apparently every sunday they release an episode a head so theres 3 on there currently.
Ah ok. I thought they might have all been up then I could have binge watched them all. But if it seems staged then I'll probably stop watching. Like that hunted as someone said earlier.

he said there was a conveniently placed duck inside one of the fishing nets and it was obvious the duck quacks were sound effects for dramatic effect as she was a veggie who had to kill a duck

I can cope with a little bit of staging like them making sure there're animals around for them to try and hunt otherwise they'd literally have nothing to eat or do which would be boring.
Having said that, call me a snowflake but I hate that these animals are killed for no real reason. It's not a genuine survival situation, at the end of the day it's a gameshow. That poor squirrel could have survived for hours with its leg shot off. They're trained to hunt 'humanely'but they obviously don't really know what they're doing and could cause all sorts of harm to these animals.

On the American version of this show the participants all have lots of experience of living in the wild. Being able to hunt, fish and forage for food. They aren’t first timers and many watched previous series to see what the winners actually did differently to survive their time there.
See attached website for info on the 10 items from US version.

I’m watching as the episodes are put online so an episode of them as they’re broadcast.

An ex-army commando? Can’t believe we’re 4 weeks in and only just mentioned 🤦🏻‍♀️
