Full credit to @Old Soak for coming up with the title. I just mentioned it was such a cracking (and honest) statement that it needed to be a thread title. Maybe Bianca will borrow it for a film title one day. Or even Alice for her book that she is totally writing and will be released any day now. Pinky promise. ETA: I actually can't decide whether to vote yes or no. Surely she will have to pay the bill at some point, or does she plan on living in literal as well as figurative darkness for the rest of her life? Maybe she'll treat us to a bedroom fashion parade with a faux runway of lit candles, then upload to Instagram at her library?

I voted No because this was what I was thinking will happen.

I have a question about sealing custody files. I understand why it's good for the children to have those sealed (and that should really be the only criteria). What I don't understand is what Alice thinks she will gain by leaving them unsealed? Does she believe they will show the world Ioan is the monster she claims he is?

I suspect since it's sealed/not filed and thus the custody share/his decision to walk away is not public she cannot have the DM publish a big story about how she got custody and how this would prove (it doesnt, but her tabloid friend already implied this in a opinion piece the other day) that Ioan actually doesnt think she is abusive, hence Alice's lawyers bogus claim that it would "resolve" his PROVEN allegations. I can also imagine that there is somewhere a obligatiry line where they do say that they consider the proceedings concluded (which is what a lot of abusers like to spin in when their victims agree to a settlement)

When the minute order dropped about the custody stipulation the DM had a article up within minutes. Even J.Lo filing for divorce wasnt this quick, so it's quite obvious what campaign Alice has prepared with her friends.

Given the before and after financials, I think she probably did spaff $300k a year and clearly has no concept of money and where it comes from at all.

She hasn’t stopped talking about how she has 100% custody ever since the stipulation was agreed. In her twisted mind, this means she’s won and it’s proof she’s the mother of the century. A little bit of digging shows a very different story. Alice hopes no one will dig and few will remember.

She's always alluded to having custody from the off, most are aware of the alienation and Alice liking a few posts won't change that.

She grifted $1100 from FMs after the Utility Karen post and still didn't pay a cent on the bill. If someone was going to pay all of it, it would have happened by now.

Her spendings will easily be 300k if she spends what she wants to spend. She is currently declaring 20k per month (240k per year) and that is without childcare that she would hire (another 40k) and rich girl schools (50k each, but school costs are usually excluded from support and split between parents) and she would probably spend a lot more on shit if she had unlimited money as before (let's say another 20k, probably a lot more, but I'm being kind). She probably thought she was kind by asking for 300k.

Her lawyers btw keep claiming on every financial declaration they made that they believe Ioan earns 100k per month, which he has only ever done once in the past 10 years probably. She is clearly still aiming to get 300k/year, but you don't get far with fantasy numbers.

Edit: I was pretty shocked when I read how much Ioan was earning with Liar, The Reunion and Harrow. It seems he was earning over 100k/episode. For non-streaming that is well above what I thought was his league (for comparison Tom Ellis in Lucifer and Matthew Rhys in The Americans earned less per episode from what was rumoured, Rhys earned as much in Perry Mason after he had already won an Emmy), and even now his role in Bad Boys for only being a two weeks shot was very well paid (160k) especially considering the movies moderate budget. Truly, it's insane that they had still so much on the mortgage left even if it was just a single income household. The wasteful spending must have been insane.

I will be be discharged from the hospital today. Been informed by the surgeon that my kidney surgery went well. It hurts much more now, than the previous procedure. I've been using a higher dosage of pain medication this time. Hopefully, I will have one last procedure in a couple of weeks. /SPOILER]

My husband should take my wallet off me while I'm the pain drugs. I've ordered my future grandcat this hat. He's a ginger cat, I hope he'll like it. 🤪
