Loving thread title @elle1979 I’ve been watching Lauren since she had only about 3k subscribers, a complete and utter Lydiot wanna-be. From the constant hair touching, the exact same ‘gooood morning everyone’ and the ageing outfits she puts together, just extremely unoriginal content week after week. She’s a bore. I think Jack hates her pulling out the camera.

him and his entire family is in the agriculture business. They have a agri plant hire company (according to the companies house records - although I know she’s mentioned that in one for her vlogs too). So as much as Lauren cosplays as Lydia she’s actually more English countryside than Lidl and all the other Cotswold crowd combined 😅
 
I had guessed he was a farmer!.

Ok so if it’s in the family he’s probably going to get by ok and make a living but being as it’s not entirely his (I’m guessing there’s quite a few shareholders ) he may never be rolling in it .

So maybe one day she could afford a used defender but not Lydia’s Range Rover new vogue 😂

Mind u don’t think Lydia can actually afford her vogue forever

The company's been around since 1995. It's got 3 directors (including Jack) and 1 secretary. They are definitely not rolling in gold but I do appreciate the actual work that they must do. There's definitely no country life cosplaying here. Just based on that they have more of my sympathy than Lidl and Aldi. If only Lauren found herself a better role model and created content that is more interesting (I know girlie is new and learning the ropes of being a vlogger, so maybe a good worded Tattle posts will get her on the right trajectory). And if she does and gets big and takes all of Lydia's jobs (because let's be honest Mrs Millen No Work Ethics Gordon is on her last breath and nothing will revive that career now) I will be here waiting with the popcorn 😂

But tbh the youtube world in general is rather boring these days. It's all been done before. Gone are the days when I would be excited for an upcoming video to drop!
 
I used to adore Lauren Grace, she seems like such a lovely and sweet person. I just wish she would be her own person! She is copying absolutely everything that Lydia Millen does, wears, even down to how she talks! I think Lauren Grace is definitely more of a legit “countryside” girl than Lydia which is why I keep thinking, just be yourself Lauren! Stop copying a wunnabee like Lydia!

Oh my god yes!!! She does the splayed fingers too 🤢. I think she must be so bored, no ‘real’ career, so decides on doing a course so she can be even more beige in her interiors. Lacklustre comes to mind. Her nontent is just straight out copying Lydiot and Teefers. Not an original thought going on in her bubble world. She needs to drop the pretence of what she thinks an ‘influencer ‘ should be putting out and just be herself. People can’t relate to her or the lydiot/Teefers of the YT world because those people aren’t actually real, they’re just personas of who think people would want to watch. We see glimpses of the real Lydiot/Teefers when they drop their facade and the snarkiness pops in, but it’s then quickly moved on to the next clip. They’re all living in a fake laughable world. So cringey.

Now I don’t know if this is the last vlog (it was auto playing when I came back into a room) , she has a chupi ring (so does Lydia) and she’s recovering a stool - same as Lydia did with her dressing room stool

Lauren Lauren Lauren. So boring. So short-sighted. Not very bright.
Lauren really ought to revisit her strategy of copying Lydia, and take note of the slump Lydia has fallen into.
One which she is having difficulty crawling out of. Her PR team is working overtime to get her back into the influencer limelight.
Lydia is hardly ever invited to noteworthy PR events. You never see her at events with the big name UK influencers.

Don't get me wrong, as a city girl, I love anything about the countryside. And especially anything about the UK countryside. But with Lydia (and Josie) it's overkill. There's no balance between home, countryside, fashion and beauty, Alex Coll does it well.
Lydia is a one-track pony.
She has cornered herself into this English-countryside-Birkin-Holland-Cooper-wearing-fake-horse-riding-wannabe which is, imo, although a very niche aspirational market, the high price points for what she is flogging places most people at just admiring the item/s.
It is for this reason most big name brands have dropped Lydia, not only because she is difficult to work with and lazy.
She is unable to juggle more than one scene, be it the countryside / fashion / beauty etc. Trendy or classic.
She has chosen old money countryside and looks down down on influencers who have chosen fashion or beauty.
Her countryside fashion choices are abysmal. Granny chic. No thanks.

Girl, you can do all. Who cares. You're an influencer. Okay okay, content creator. :rolleyes:
Viewers want variety. We get bored quickly. And we pick up the fakery. Well, most of us do.

All Lauren has to do is look at Lydia's YT stats which have dropped in the last year or more.
But go on Lauren. You do YOU boo Lydia. 👏

She needs to follow influenzas that are more her own age instead of these country grandmas like Lydiot & Teefers. I think her mum and Nadia are her only friends to hang out with.

As far as I know she's still friends with Georg White who collects friends called Lauren, but I haven't seen her visiting for a while so you never know.
